[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful? Today they were having a meeting for the Order. Upon entering the Burrow, he placed a quick kiss on each of the boys’ heads and gave Arthur and Molly a smile. The meeting would take place in the dining room, which luckily was large enough to sit all those who were coming today. It was an important meeting, but the entire order wasn’t invited, as they needn’t be there as it wouldn’t pertain to them. During the whole meeting, Remus seemed to be distracted. He missed a lot of information and from time to time he would be asked something, and he’d have to admit he had no idea what they were talking about. After a thoroughly terrible meeting on his part, he received his next mission. It wouldn’t be too far from here, but he’d have to set up some wards for a few muggles who were nearby and thought to be a target by the Death Eaters soon. His stomach grumbled as he sat in the living room waiting for the members to leave, so he could ask Arthur and Molly if he could stay the night – after all, a short distance from here was his mission and his place was much farther – he’d have to apparate twice to cover that distance from his place. But if he spent the night here… well, it would be much easier.

[googlefont="Comfortaa"] ♡ Molly herself paid little attention to the meeting. Juggling the newborns and the three other little boys running about kept her busy enough. The young woman only interjected when she was asked a question, but otherwise moved in and out of the meeting with ease, herding her boys as she went. When all was said and done and the meeting was finished, Molly spent the better part of thirty minutes just trying to get everyone to leave so that she could put the boys down without much fuss. Arthur seemed intent on chatting up a storm, but once they had ushered the last few people out the door, Molly stepped back into the living room. Jumping slightly, she smiled warmly at Remus. "I heard that stomach of yours. Come, lets get you fed," Molly mused without skipping a single beat. "Arthur, would you mind putting the boys down to bed while I get Remus situated?" she questioned, earning a cheerful affirmation. Her husband ushered the boys upstairs. "I assume you'll be staying the night. I'll not have you going all the way home just to come back tomorrow. We'll set you up on the pullout couch and you'll stay. I insist," Molly prattled on excitedly, absolutely elated to have a guest staying the night. "Do you like stew, Remus? I have plenty left over from supper."

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful? Remus blinked a couple times. Boy, she knew how to read a man’s mind. She already knew he was going to ask to spend the night – or she was just going to tell him to anyways. He looked down at his stomach for a moment and chuckled a bit nervously. “Ah, no, I’ll be fine, Molly. I really appreciate the offer though.” He paused for a moment. He was so used to refusing anything that was offered to him. He didn’t want to seem a burden and it was enough that he already was going to spend the night. “I will take the nightcap. I was actually waiting to ask you if I could. I could maybe watch the kids one day as payment, to make it up to you. I wouldn’t want to intrude…” His stomach growled again, and he scowled at the traitorous organ. He gave her a weak smile. “It wouldn’t be any good if I got used to eating my fill. It’s much more likely that I won’t have access to food in the coming years, and it’d be better to not… to get used to it.” Excuses excuses. You just don’t want to feel like you owe her something – and like a burden. You just don’t like accepting things from others because it makes you feel weak and like you can’t provide for yourself. Because you can’t provide for yourself because of your condition.

[googlefont="Comfortaa"] ♡ Molly rolled her eyes at Remus, literally motioning him firmly into the kitchen. "On with you, before I float you in here myself, Remus. No one ever goes hungry in my home," she commented, making a second motion. Shaking her red curls, she slipped into the kitchen, setting to warming a bowl of stew without waiting for any other answer. Silently, she set the table for his meal, pouring him a spot of whisky, even, and spooning some soup into a large bowl. She cut a few pieces of bread from a loaf, settling them beside the bowl before coming back out into the living space. "Utter nonsense," Molly quipped. "You don't need to pay me back for anything. You'll stay," she motioned to the kitchen once again, "You'll eat instead of wasting my food," she continued, "And you'll get a good rest. No payments, no strings."When Remus made a comment about not having food in the coming years, Molly frowned deeply, all of her jovial happiness suddenly faltering. Taking three firm steps across the floor, she reached down to take Remus' hand. "You'll not go hungry, Remus. If ever you are hungry, you will sit at our table and dine with us," she murmured, her brows furrowed. "As far as I am concerned, you are family. And family will not starve on my watch, you hear me?"

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful? Remus sighed. He knew it wasn’t worth it to fight against Molly Weasley and her mom instincts. He might be young, but he wasn’t a kid anymore. Yet he never had a mother, and it felt a little… nice to have someone concerned over him in such a way. Fussing over him as if he were her own child. He’d gone so long without a parent like figure – his actual dad being a complete asshole. He followed her into the kitchen and got himself a bowl of the stew. He sat at the table and looked up at her. “I appreciate it. A lot. I really do.” He bit his lower lip before dipping his spoon into the stew and taking a bite. As always, it was delicious. She was one of the best cooks he’d met – or it could be the feelings of her taking care of him like she was his mother was seeping into his opinion of her cooking. “I – I’ve been wondering. You’ve been in love, obviously. Otherwise you wouldn’t be married to Arthur, that was stupid of me to say. But –“ He sucked in a breath. “What did it feel like when you realized it?”
